10 Days Nairobi Masai Mara Nakuru Naivasha and Amboseli Safari

Discover Kenya on these exciting 10day’s /9 nights tour to Kenya’s most famous game viewing destinations. The safari features the open plains of Maasai Mara famous for annual migration of wildebeests and zebras, waters of Lake Nakuru home of millions of beautiful pink flamingoes, Lake Naivasha one of largest fresh water lake &home to varied species of birds and Amboseli National park located at shadows of Mt.Kilimanjaro featuring rewarding game viewing.

Day 1: Arrival-transfer to hotel

On arrival to the airport you will be met by our representative who will greet you and afterwards you will proceed to After 40 Hotel for your dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2: Nairobi city tour

After breakfast you will be picked by your tour driver/guide then proceed with Nairobi city tour where you will visit David sheldrick after one hour you will proceed to mamba village for your lunch then take adventure see crocodile where you tour guide will give you more details regarding the crocodile, then proceed to giraffe center where you will have good time to feed giraffe, lastly you will visit Karen Blixen museum  for 2 hrs then back to your hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3: Nairobi-Masai Mara

Pick up from your hotel after breakfast then depart for the Maasai Mara Game Reserve. You will travel via the view-point of the Great Rift Valley with stop over for photos then proceed with journey arriving to the Mara Anshil camp/Keekorok lodge in time for lunch, Check in and relax for a few minutes. Proceed for an afternoon game drive, tracking various animal species and birds with your driver or guide. Dinner and overnight at the camp.

Day 4: Full-day Maasai Mara national reserve.

After breakfast proceed on a full day of game viewing within the reserve. The landscape here is scenic savannah grassland on rolling hills. The reserve is the best park for game in Kenya as it has an extensive road and track network which allows for close range viewing and photography. Break for your picnic lunch at the hippo pool, looking out for hippos and crocodile. Continue with game drive till 1800hrs. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 5: Full day in Maasai Mara national reserve

A full day to explore the magic Mara, breakfast at your lodge and leave with picnic lunches for a full day of game viewing inside the Park. Search for wild game including the huge black manned lion for which Mara is famous for, splendid cheetah, African buffalo, wildebeest (gnus), zebra, leopard, grants gazelle are quite common etc. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.

Day 6: Masai Mara-Nakuru

After breakfast   depart to lake Nakuru national park.  Upon arrival you will proceed with  game drive where you will spot animals like lions , leopards, Rothschild's giraffes, black rhinos, elands, hyena, mongooses , African wild cats, civet cats, silver-backed jackals ,bat-eared foxes ,impalas, buffalos, zebras, warthogs, black and white colobus and Cheetahs and birds like the flamingoes , white pelicans, cormorants , African fish eagles, white winged black tern, avocet, black winged stilt, cattle egret, great white egret, ducks, hammerkop, yellow billed stork, sacred and Hadada ibis, Egyptian goose, blacksmith plover, sandpipers, grey heron, African spoonbill, African snipe, king fisher’s and African Jacana, ostrich, secretary bird, marabou stork, ground hornbill, Guinea fowls, starlings. Break for lunch at Nakuru sopa lodge. Relax at the lodge for the rest of the day. Dinner and overnight at the Nakuru sopa lodge.

Day 7: Nakuru-Naivasha

After breakfast in the morning depart Nakuru to Naivasha. First you will proceed to Hell's Gate National Park. Once at the Park entrance, you have the option of a game drive or hire bikes into the Park (optional). Cycling in the Park is a great adventure as you get to ride the bikes for 7 Kilometers before resting at a ranger's post. After a brief stop at the picnic site you leave the bike and proceed to gorges with a Masai guide(optional). Enjoy the spectacular views of the gorge. The park provides a variety of wildlife, unusual flora and many species of birds and is one of the only park in Kenya where climbing, walking and biking are allowed. Animals seen here include Bushbucks, Dikdiks, Gazelles, Gnus, Hartebeests, Impalas, Klipspringers, Buffaloes, Hyraxes, Zebras, Hyenas, Jackals, Mongooses, Baboons, Monkeys and Porcupines amongst others. Leave the park and drive to Lake Naivasha where you capture photos at the shores of the lake with the various birds and wildlife found in the lake. Other optional activities available include boat ride to Crescent Island. Lunch in between Dinner and overnight at the Taphe Resort.

Day 8: Naivasha –Amboseli

After breakfast you will leave the hotel for Nairobi and continue to Amboseli. You will arrive just in time for lunches at Kibo luxury camp, check in and relax. Evening game drive till dusk. Dinner and overnight stay at the camp.

Day 9: Full day in Amboseli national park

The early morning pre-breakfast game drive is a must both for quality of viewing and for atmosphere of the wilds of Africa. We will return to our lodge for breakfast to be followed by a mid-morning drive. Lunch will be served back at the lodge. The evening game drive will complete this very full day and allow you to have seen and experienced the wilds of Africa in its natural state. Dinner will be served at the lodge.

Day 9: Amboseli – Nairobi

After breakfast we will leave the camp for a fast game drive then back to camp relax till lunch time, have lunch then leave for Nairobi, arriving in Nairobi later in the day. End of your safari.
