12 Days Aberdares, Samburu, Nakuru, Masai Mara, Naivasha, Amboseli Lodge safari

Day 1: Nairobi / Aberdares

Pick up from (forward flight details) or your hotel and at around 8am depart to Aberdares arriving I time for lunch at outspan hotel base hotel for treetops lodge. Later you will be transferred to the Ark to enjoying the lodge facilities Game viewing will be at the floodlit Saltlick Water hole, dinner and overnight at the Aberdares Ark.

Day 2: Aberdares / Samburu

After breakfast, drive to the Samburu National Reserve. Rugged and remote, this wildlife reserve provides some of the best and most colorful game viewing in the country. Afternoon game drives until evening dinner and overnight at Samburu Sopa lodge.

Day 3: Samburu full day

After early breakfast spend the day with both morning and afternoon game viewing drives. The main attractions are the resident wildlife species like the reticulated Giraffe, Grevy’s Zebra, Beisa Oryx and the blue-necked Somali Ostrich that are rare elsewhere in the country. Return to the Samburu Sopa lodge as the sun sets for dinner and overnight.

Day 4: Samburu- Nakuru

After early breakfast and morning game drive depart via Nyahururu Falls (Formerly Thomson Falls) to the Great Rift Valley with scenic landscape viewing en route arriving at Lake Nakuru in the evening, Dinner and overnight at L. Nakuru Lodge.

Day 5: Lake Nakuru

Early morning game drive, returning for breakfast.  After breakfast, check-out and drive to Lord Egerton Castle 14km from Nakuru town in a beautiful countryside.  Built between 1930 and 1940 by Lord Egerton, now owned by Egerton University. Dinner and overnight at Lake Nakuru.

Day 6: Lake Nakuru- Masai Mara

After early breakfast and Morning game drive to watch and photograph birds and wild animals often referred pink lakes because of great masses of flamingoes and other birds and also guaranteed to see the black and white rhino. Later depart to Maasai Mara with picnic lunch on the way arriving in early evening. Proceed for evening game drive dinner and overnight at Mara Sopa Lodge.

Day 7: Masai Mara Full day

A full day spent game viewing across the rich, tree studded grassland and rolling hills. The famous Mara is renowned for its great herds of plane game, black-maned lions, leopard and cheetah but also contains numerous elephant and virtually every type of wildlife to be found in Kenya. All meals and over night at the lodge.

Day 8: Masai Mara full Day

After breakfast proceed for a Morning game drive and the after lunch you have optional nature walk or games drive to see the animals. Dinner and overnight at the Lodge.

Day 9: Maasai Mara-Naivasha

After early breakfast proceed for morning game drive and after breakfast with picnic lunch on the way leave Maasai Mara to Naivasha arriving in the evening. Dinner and overnight at Naivasha Sopa Lodge.

Day 10: Naivasha - Amboseli

After early breakfast visit crescent Island for boat ride as you watch hippos and other wild animals. Later with picnic lunch to Amboseli Sopa Lodge.

Day 11: Amboseli National Park

A full day in this photogenic park. Morning and afternoon game drives. Dinner and overnight at Amboseli Sopa / Serena Lodges. Amboseli National park is a popular safari destination because of it's rich wildlife, natural beauty, While on safari, you are guaranteed to see countless herds of elephants ambling by. Nowhere else in Africa will you get so close to so many free-ranging elephants. Amboseli National Park is also a birdwatchers' haven as it is home to a dizzying array of birdlife. Amboseli National Park In fact, no less than 400 species of birds occur in the park. Water birds such as geese, pelicans and storks are particularly abundant as are herons, egrets, stilts, kingfishers, waders, geese and storks.

Day 12: Amboseli- Arusha

Early breakfast then proceed for morning game drives exit the park and, we drive into Tanzania via the Namanga border to Arusha.
