3 Days Nairobi, Hells Gate Naivasha Safari.

Day 1: Nairobi Full Day Tour.

Start the day bay being picked up of the airport or your hotel by our driver guide and depart for the Giraffe center, 30 minutes from Nairobi City Center. At the giraffe center you shall discover the hundreds of the endangered Rothschild giraffes from an elevated platform where you can see them an eye to an eye. Enjoy feeding the giraffes and petting them with the closest view you can have in Kenya.Take lunch at a Nairobi hotel before visiting the David Sheldrick elephant orphanage. Learn the history behind the orphanage establishment and the stories of the rescued elephants as survivors of poaching. See the rescued elephants, assist in bottle feeding as well as watch the team of staff feed and care for them. Your visit here contributes to David Sheldrick wildlife trust which focuses on rescuing the elephants as well as their up keep.

Wind up the day with a visit to the Karen Blixen Museum at the foot of Ngong hills. Discover the history of Karen Blixen a Danish author of the Famous book Out Of Africa. The home houses the furniture, the library, the gallery that points back to Karen Blixen’s life and that of her husband Baron Bror von Blixen Fincke. They were European settlers who owned a coffee farm and factory at the Ngong hills.

At the end of the day, you shall be taken back to your hotel.

Day 2: Nairobi – Hells Gate National park.

Depart from Nairobi early in the morning for the safari being picked from your hotel. Enjoy the swift 3 hours ride along the Nairobi Nakuru highway. Stop over at the View Point for spectacular view of the Great Rift Valley beautiful landscape and its lakes. You shall arrive in the morning hours, sign in at the gate and proceed with the safari. This morning hours are the best for hiking at the parks towering cliffs. Leave the vehicle behind you at a certain point which will be driving behind you in case you get tired or would like to rest. Start with walking on the well-marked trails. After walking for several kilometers, reach the biking center where you shall ride the bikes to the spot where rock climbing will start. Cycling is a great adventure where you will cycle for seven kilometers before resting at the Rangers post. As you walk and bike you shall be able to spot the animals as they graze in the wild, zebras, gazelles as well as the giraffes. After resting, leave the bikes for a walking adventurous safari that takes approximately 3 hours. You will be able to enjoy the spectacular view of the gorges .Discover the hot springs then walk back to pick the bikes and cycle back to the spot where the vehicle will be waiting for you.At the end of the day   check in at the permanent tented camp for dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Hell’s Gate National park –Naivasha- Nairobi.

Take an early breakfast at the camp, check out and depart for Lake Naivasha .Arrive at the lake Naivasha national park in time for lunch. Lake Naivasha is a beautiful freshwater lake, fringed by thick papyrus its waters are shallow therefore drawing a great range of game to these shores. Giraffes wander among the acacia, Buffalo wallow in the swamps and monkeys call from the treetops while the Lakes large hippo populations sleep the day out in the shallows.

Here you will have activities to choose from:

You may, take a boat ride; enjoy a boat ride from the lake to Crescent Island Conservancy. The terrain is flat, making it easy for walkers of all abilities to enjoy themselves. There is also a possibility of seeing game such as giraffes, waterbucks, elands, wildebeests, zebras and impalas. It is also a heaven for birds with over 200 species of birds recorded. Among the resident birds are fish eagles, ospreys, lily-trotters, black crakes and a variety of herons.

Also, you may choose to go for Nature walk in the park as you explore the lands of the wild as you spot the animals and enjoy the cool breeze of the lake.

 Another option may be to go swimming and relaxing by the pool as you enjoy the view of the animals on the other side of the fence.

After the adventurous day, you shall be taken back to your hotel in Nairobi to mark the end of the safari.
