Description
These three days safari to Nairobi National Park will give you an opportunity to see variety of different species of birds and animals in their natural ecosystem. Nairobi begin one of the oldest park in Kenya it was established in 1946 and acts as home of large and diverse species of flora and fauna. Having the open plains and a few scattered acacia trees it provides habitat for were many species of wildlife among them include: the endangered black rhino, bushbuck, buffaloes, leopard, zebras, giraffe, lion etc.
This short adventure will feature areas like the national park, National museum, animal orphanage, giraffe center and David and Daphne sheldrick elephant orphanage at the shortest time possible. This tour good for anyone who loves nature and its compositions.
Day 1: From hotel-Nairobi tour
On this day you head out early in the morning for a tour around the city were you will visit places like giraffe center which is located along Langata, it was established with the main objective of securing the endangered species of Rothschild giraffe. The most exciting part of your visit to giraffe center is seeing this animals at a up close and even feeding them, the center also provides free environmental education to visitors and also promotes conservation efforts towards endangered species, afterwards you will proceed to David and Daphne sheldrick elephant orphanage here you will see orphan elephants and rhinos, these baby elephant and rhino have been orphaned due to activities such as poaching and habitat loss. You will also learn about two major programs that is orphans project that deals with rescuing and rehabilitating orphan elephants and also fostering project.in the afternoon you will visit the museum were you will spend your time exploring the art gallery and varied exhibitions, discovering the richness of Kenya and her people. Dinner and overnight at budgeted hotel.
Day 2: Nairobi national park full day
The day begins with breakfast at the hotels and a packed lunch then you proceed to a game drive at the park. The park is just a breath and sight away from the busting Kenya capital-Nairobi. Due to its savannah grassland and scattered acacia trees you will be able to see black rhino, lions, leopards, cheetahs, hyenas, buffaloes, giraffes, bushbuck, hippopotamus and diverse birdlife at long close range. Day 3: from hotel-Nairobi national orphanage
In the morning full breakfast at your hotels then you drive towards Langat road next to Nairobi national park to the orphanage. Here you will have a up-close viewing of animals such as Lions, leopards, cheetahs, warthogs, crested cranes, antelopes Bamboons among others wild animals.
