Day 1 Nairobi to Mombasa

You will catch up with your flight from Nairobi and depart for Mombasa arriving in the mid afternoon. Upon arrival at the airport in Mombasa you will be transferred to Shimba hills game reserve arriving in the lodge time for lunch, after lunch we will go for a game drive. Shimba hills national reserve is known for its beautiful lush skin vegetation forested landscape, sharp slopes, and steep valleys.

Dinner and overnight at the lodge

Day   2   full day in Shimba hills national reserve

After breakfast we shall proceed to the sheldrick falls with a picnic lunch break. We shall enjoy a guided sheldrick falls along 2km foot path. A wildlife ranger will take you to the waterfall, through the forest that is a home to elephants and buffaloes among other species. On the way you will learn about different species of birds. The guide will give you facts about plants and animals you see along the path. The walk to this attraction takes about two hours through grassland, bush and forest. We shall also descent to the bottom of the nature water fall and ascend to the plunge in about one hour. It is a great place for afternoon nature walks

Day   3   full day game drive in Shimba hills game reserve

After breakfast we will proceed for a full day game viewing and bird watching. There are different types of wildlife which include elephants, giraffes, antelopes, endangered sable antelope, genet, civet cats, antelopes, African bush baby, coastal black and white colobus, Sykes monkeys and many others. Their also different 111 bird species have being recorded of which 22 are coastal endemic among them are ostrich eagle, African hawk, falcon, guinea fowl, Kenyan crested, horn bill and many others. Dinner and overnight shall be at the lodge

Day    4   Mombasa to Nairobi

You will go for an early morning game drive and after return to the lodge for full breakfast. You will be dropped at the airport to catch up your flight to Nairobi.
