4 Days Masai Mara lodge safari
This four day adventure will take us to one of the famous safari destination in Kenya since the 19th century. Masai Mara is known for the annual migration of the wildebeest and its large cat population.This a spectacular destination for photographing with a vast land with a great variety of wild animals vegetation. The safari ends on the last day on arrival back to the capital.
Day 1: Nairobi-Masai Mara
Depart from Nairobi we drive south along the floor of rift valley with a p brief stop at the view point for a breath taking views of rift valley you may decide to take photos and buy some souvenirs as you listen to tales about the formation of rift valley. We proceed with our journey where we will stop at Narok town for our lunch. Narok town is a Masai town known for most beautiful curios ever. Arrive Masai Mara later afternoon, check in at the lodge and rest for some time before starting the game drive till twilight You will have a great opportunity of game viewing.If lucky you will spot the spot the big five (lion, buffalo, rhino both white and black, leopard and elephants), the Rothschild giraffes feeding among the acacia tress, herds of wildebeest, zebras, dik-diks, gazelles among others . Dinner and overnight at lodge.
Day 2: Masai Mara full day
Early in the morning game drive are offered. Full day will be spent in game drive exploring the park in search of the big five inhabiting the park. You will have a chance to see wildlife such as bamboos, hyena, jackals, zebra’s wildebeest cheetah, leopard among others. You will enjoy your picnic lunch with hippos and crocodiles at the hippo pool. In the late afternoon there is optional visit to the Masai village where you can learn about the culture of the Masai people. Dinner and overnight at a lodge.
Day 3: Masai Mara full day
Full Day spent exploring the park in search of the big 5/ trailing the wildebeest migration Morning and afternoon game drives are offered. Optional hot air balloon trip is offered at an extra cost of US$ 450 per person. Which is the perfect way of seeing the savannah plains teaming up with wildlife.Masai Mara game reserve has different varieties of wildlife, over 450 species of wildlife has been recorded. They include lions, rhinos, hippos, crocodiles, giraffe, wildebeests, zebras, buffalo, warthogs, hyenas, jackals, wild dogs, buffalo, leopard, many kinds of antelopes and elephant. It is in the Mara where one of the world wonder event takes place. This is the annual migration of millions of wildebeest and zebra from the Serengeti (Tanzania) in search of water and pasture. Return to the Lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 4: Masai Mara to Nairobi
You will have early morning Pre-breakfast game drives and the last game drive bidding bye to the wild animals, back to the lodge for full breakfast .After breakfast check out of the lodge and sign out of the reserve then depart for Nairobi taking lunch en route arriving by evening where the safari ends.
