6 Days Masai Mara, Ruma Park and Kakamega Forest Safari
Masai Mara/ Ruma Park/Kakamega Forest Safari. This is an adventurous tour of Maasai Mara game reserve where you will see the big five animals for two days. On the third day depart to Western Kenya visit Ruma Park where you will see the rare roan antelope and very different unique birds found in Kakamega forest.
Day 1: Nairobi/ Masai Mara
Depart Nairobi in the morning drive to the Rift Valley escarpment for a stopover to view the Great Rift Valley. Proceed along the floor of the Rift valley for lunch at Narok. Arrive in Masai Mara late in the afternoon for a game drive. Dinner and overnight at the camp.
Day 2: Masai Mara
Full day game viewing in the most popular park where you have a chance of viewing the big five (lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo and rhinoceros). Lunch at the hippo pool as you watch Hippos and crocodiles. You will also have the option of visiting a Masai village. Dinner and overnight at the camp.
Day 3: Masai Mara/ Lake Victoria (Kisumu)
Have an early breakfast then a game drive enroute as you depart for Lake Victoria (Kisumu). Arriving Kisumu late in the afternoon in time to enjoy sunset along the shores of Lake Victoria, We can also customize your safari to include a boating excursion on lake. Have dinner and overnight at a budget hotel.
Day 4: Kisumu Impala Park/Ruma Park
After breakfast visit Kisumu Impala Park to view several antelopes and gazelles. Proceed to Ruma National Park through Homabay town. Game drive at the Park in search of the rare Roan Antelope, giraffe, unique bird species and plants picnic lunch to be provided. Drive back to Kisumu along its shores of Lake Victoria arriving late in the afternoon for dinner, overnight at a budget hotel.
Day 5: Kisumu/Kakamega Forest
Leave Kisumu after breakfast for Kakamega forest. This is one of the few Tropical rain forests remaining in East Africa. It’s famous for its unique bird species, snake, primates and plants, some trees are over 150 years. Dinner and overnight at a budget Hotel.
Day 6: Kakamega/Nairobi
Depart Kakamega after breakfast for Nairobi through Kaimos and Kapsabet viewing the green farms along the hills and its unique Cherangani hill. Lunch enroute, arriving Nairobi late in the afternoon. Drop off at the Hotel in Nairobi.
