7 Days Masai Mara Wildlife Viewing and Beach Safari

This 7 days safari is an ideal balance between activity and relaxation, it’s hard to imagine a finer combination than a bush and beach holiday. Start your trip off with a safari adventure in the Maasai Mara bush before completely relaxing and unwinding on one of Kenya's white sandy beaches. Safaris can be quite tiring, particularly with their early starts, so what better way to relax and re-invigorate yourself than by picking a spot on the coast before returning home to the real world.

Day 1: Nairobi

On arrival at JKIA you are met by Kenya tour budget safari representative who will welcome you and brief you as per the safari is concerned, then you will proceed with Nairobi city tour, later transferred to your hotel. Spend the rest of the day resting and adjusting to the different time zone. Lunch and dinner on own account. Overnight at Nairobi Hotel (bed & breakfast).

Day 2: Nairobi-Maasai Mara

Depart Nairobi in the morning, after breakfast and drive to the floor of the Rift Valley with a brief stopover at the breathtaking view point to see the Great Rift-Valley– later drive to Maasai Mara Game Reserve arriving in time for lunch. Afternoon game drive. Dinner and overnight at the camp.

Day 3: Maasai Mara

Spend the day in Maasai Mara, Kenya’s most popular game sanctuary where you will have the best opportunity of spotting the Big Five – lion, leopard, buffalo, rhino and elephant. Game drives are flexible, with the option of going out with picnic lunch boxes to spend entire day in the park, or you can choose to have early morning and late afternoon game drives. You will also visit a local Maasai village. Dinner and overnight stay at the camp

Day 4: Maasai Mara-Nairobi-Diani Beach

Another early morning game drive in Mara, then depart after breakfast and be transferred to the airstrip for your flight to Diani Beach. Lunch will be in Nairobi as you connect to Diani arriving at 1400hrs. You will be met by the resort staff and be transferred to the resort.

Day 5-6: Diani Beach

The perfect destination to relax under the tropical sun and the coconut palm trees. Here you have lots of options like visit the National Museum, sunbathing on the beautiful beaches, visit the Marine Parks, participating in the various water sports, snorkeling, Buccaneer diving, touring Mombasa town as well as shopping.

Day 7:  Diani-Nairobi

Today you will leave Diani Beach to Nairobi. On arrival in Nairobi you will have lunch, later transfer to the airport for your international flight home. By the time you leave Kenya, you’re once in a life time dream will have come true.
