8 Days Masai Mara Lodge safari

Day 1: Nairobi – Masai Mara Game Reserve

Pick up from the airport or the Hotel in the morning then drive through the dramatic Great Rift Valley with a stopover at the view point and Narok town for lunch. Masai Mara reserve is actually part of the vast Serengeti plains famously known for its spectacular great Wildebeest’s migration and is home to the Big Five: Lion, Elephant, Leopard, Buffalo and Rhino. On arrival, you will enjoy an evening game drive. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.

Day 2: Full day in Masai Mara national Reserve

A full day is spent in Masai Mara with packed lunch.in search for great predators and perhaps even cubs. On the plains are enormous herds of grazing animals plus the elusive Cheetah and Leopard hiding amidst Acacia boughs. Later in the evening return to the  lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Full day in Masai Mara national reserve

After breakfast proceed for a full day game drive with a packed Lunch. At this time of the year there is Migration scene of the Wildebeest, you will witness the event. What an interesting occurrence! Later in the evening return to the  lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 4: Full day in Masai Mara national reserve

After an early morning breakfast, you will have a full day for game viewing and exploring this spectacular park. The terrain of the reserve is primarily open grassland with seasonal river lets. All members of the "Big Five" (lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo, and black rhinoceros) are found in the Masai Mara. More than 470 species of birds have been identified in the reserve, many of which are migrants. Picnic lunch at the Mara River, on the border between Kenya and Tanzania. Then return to the  lodge for dinner and overnight

Day 5: Explore Masai Mara national reserve

An extensive full day game drive. This part of the northern Serengeti is where the great wildebeest migration is resident and it will be possible to see huge herds of these animals covering much of the reserve. Meals and overnight at the  lodge.

Day 6: Explore Masai Mara national reserve

Today we will venture into the Masai Mara reserve with a packed lunch. We spend the day driving through nature as it was intended to be - huge plains, rolling hills and an abundance of game matched nowhere else on earth.  Dinner and overnight at the  lodge.

Day 7: Explore Masai Mara national reserve

We kick off the day with a breakfast after which we proceed for a full day game drive. On clear days, the Masai Mara offers fantastic orange-tinged sunsets worth capturing on camera. The Mara reserve covers 1510km² of incredible wide-open landscapes and fertile riverine woodlands, following the meanders of the Mara and Talek rivers. One glimpse is enough to explain its appeal as an iconic savannah, with a mass of amazing wildlife. An optional hot-air balloon safari can be arranged at an extra cost. Dinner and overnight at the  lodge.

Day 8: Masai Mara-Nairobi

After pre-breakfast game drive you return to the  lodge for full breakfast Afterwards you drive back to Nairobi arriving late in the afternoon with lunch en-route. Drop off at your hotel or transfer to the airport for your onward flight home. End of services.
