9 Days Masai Mara, lake Nakuru, lake Naivasha, Amboseli lodge safari
Day 1: Nairobi - Masai Mara Game Reserve
Start your safari immediately after arrival in Nairobi or from your hotel. Our driver guide will meet you and the safari starts with a visit to the Masai Mara. You will pass the Great Rift Valley viewpoint - arrive at the Mara around lunchtime. Lunch at the lodge. Game viewing in the afternoon. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.
Day 2: Full day in Masai Mara national Reserve
Early morning game drive followed by breakfast at the lodge. Relax the rest of the morning and enjoy the view onto the Mara River or take a swim in the pool. Lunch at the camp and go for another game-drive in the afternoon. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.
Day 3: Full day in Masai Mara national Reserve
Wake up to cup of tea or coffee followed by an early morning pre- breakfast game drive. Return to the lodge for breakfast, followed by a further game drive. All the big five may be seen namely elephant, buffalo and lion; the sighting of rhino and leopard which make the total five cannot be guaranteed as they are few in number, very shy and elusive. Lunch at the lodge then a leisure break during which you can visit a local Maasai village at an extra cost. Wind up the day with a late afternoon game drive. After the game drive return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 4: Full day in Masai Mara national Reserve
We will be able to take an early morning and late afternoon game drive to explore this famous and unique park. You can have optional hot air balloon at an extra cost, at the end of the activity you will be awarded with a certificate. Then return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 5: Masai Mara – Lake Nakuru national park
Early morning pre-breakfast game drive. After breakfast, depart the Mara region for Nakuru, picnic lunch enroute. Mt Longonot and Lake Naivasha can be seen from afar on the main highway. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.
Day 6: Lake Nakuru - Lake Naivasha national park
After breakfast, proceed on a game drive in the nearby Lake Nakuru national park which has a fantastic array of bird-life including flamingos, white pelicans and marabou stork, all water birds that breed in the lake's alkaline waters. You may spot white rhino and the rare Rothschild's giraffe that has five horns instead of the usual three and clear instead of spotted shanks. A visit to the baboon cliff offers a scenic panorama of the lake below, surrounded by a vast tract of euphorbia and acacia forest. Makalia falls within the park are an additional attraction. After lunch, drive to Lake Naivasha for dinner and overnight at the lodge.
Day 7: Lake Naivasha- Amboseli national park
Following a pre-breakfast game drive we will leave the hotel for Nairobi and continue to Amboseli. Lunch will be served in Nairobi. Once in the Amboseli National Park we will be able to take a game drive on the way to the lodge. Dinner will be served at the lodge.
Day 8: Full day in Amboseli national park
The early morning pre-breakfast game drive is a must both for quality of viewing and for atmosphere of the wilds of Africa. We will return to our lodge for breakfast to be followed by a mid-morning drive. Lunch will be served back at the lodge. The evening game drive will complete this very full day and allow our tourists to have seen and experienced the wilds of Africa in its natural state. Dinner will be served at the lodge.
Day 9: Amboseli – Nairobi
After breakfast we will leave the lodge for a fast game drive as we leave the park on the way to Nairobi. A hot or picnic lunch will be served on the way, arriving in Nairobi in the afternoon. End of your safari.
