Day 1: Arrival - Nairobi

Meet you at Jomo Kenyatta international airport and transfer you to a Hotel for overnight stay.

Day 2: Nairobi – Samburu game reserve

Pick up from your hotel at 0730 hrs. And depart for the dramatic semi-arid scrub land of the Northern Frontier. Arrival in Samburu will be by lunch time. After lunch embark on a game drive to sight resident wildlife species like the Reticulated Giraffe, Grevy's Zebra, Beisa Oryx and the Blue-necked Somali Ostrich that are rare elsewhere in the country. Dinner and overnight will be at Samburu Sopa Lodge

Day 3: Samburu Game Reserve

Full Day spent exploring the park the highlights of Samburu game reserve is the spectacular scenic beauty, rivers and forests. It is an area where the local people have a rich and colorful heritage. The reserves have numerous permanent springs and a wealth of wildlife which includes leopard, hippo, elephant, lion, reticulated giraffe, Grevy's zebra and crocodile in the Ewaso Nyiro River. Over 365 species of birds have been identified in the sanctuaries. Dinner and overnight stay at Samburu Sopa Lodge

Day 4: Samburu – Lake Nakuru National park

After breakfast departs for Lake Nakuru. Arrival will be in time for lunch, in the afternoon you will embark on a game drive where you will have the opportunity to spot leopards, rhino and the famous pink flamingos as well as a variety of other wildlife. Dinner and overnight at a hotel, Lake Nakuru's claim to fame is anchored on its flamingo's and the over 400 species of birds found here. The lake itself is a soda lake on the floor of the rift valley. The sight of the at times millions of flamingos is quite spectacular. From a distance the lake appears ringed in pink. The Lake has also earned a reputation as an important haven for endangered species- particularly the Rothschild Giraffe and the black and white rhino. Lions, waterbuck.

Day 5: Lake Nakuru- Maasai Mara

After breakfast departs for Maasai Mara - the land of vast migrating animals. Arrival will be in time for lunch. After lunch embark on a game drive. Dinner and overnight at Mara Kichakani Tented camp

Day 6/7: Masai Mara Game reserve

Full day spent exploring the park in search of the Big 5. Dinner and overnight at Mara Mara Kichakani Tented camp -The Maasai Mara Game Reserve is arguably Kenya’s most popular game sanctuary. It is the most famous and most visited game reserve in Kenya. The film ‘Out of Africa’ was made to a great extent in this reserve.

Day 8 Day Masai Mara – Lake Naivasha

After breakfast descends down towards the Great Rift Valley, Arrival at Lake Naivasha will be in time for a delicious lunch at the Fish Eagle camp. The remainder of the afternoon will be at your leisure, with the opportunity of going on a nature walk, hiring a boat to take you the famous Crescent Island, or simply relaxing by the swimming pool. Dinner and overnight at Fish Eagle Camp

Day 9: Lake Naivasha - Amboseli

After breakfast, drive past the scenic Athi Plains and into the bushy country of Amboseli National Park - a landscape dominated by the spectacular snowcaps of Mount Kilimanjaro. Arrival will be in time for lunch at your chosen lodge / tented camp. After lunch and a few hours of rest, embark on a game drive at the foot of Africa's highest mountain. Dinner and overnight will be at the Amboseli Kibo safari camp

Day 10 Amboseli - Lake Manyara

After breakfast, we drive into Tanzania via the Namanga border. We also pass through Arusha for lunch and proceed to Lake Manyara National park with Regardless of the direction we approach Manyara from, the view is always fantastic. Dinner and overnight at Lake Manyara Twiga Camp Lake Manyara is a shallow, alkaline lake that is part of the Rift Valley wall; the lake is at the base of this dramatic western escarpment giving it a beautiful and serene setting.

Day 11 Lake Manyara - Serengeti National park

We enjoy a refreshing early morning game-drive in Lake Manyara National Park followed by breakfast in the cool morning air. We then drive to the great Serengeti National Park game viewing and with a picnic lunch enroute. Dinner and overnight stay at Ikoma safari Camp . The following day is spent leisurely viewing game.

Day 12: Serengeti National park

Full day spent exploring the park. Morning and afternoon game drives are offered. Dinner and Overnight stay at Serengeti iIkoma safari camp, Serengeti is Africa’s most famous and Tanzania’s largest park covering 14,736 sq km and is adjoining with the Masai Mara National reserve in Kenya. With a wildebeest population of about 2 million and several other hoofed species (which include zebra, Thomson’s gazelle, impala, topi, Grants gazelle, Kongoni, Eland, Kirk’s dik dik, klipspringer, roan, Oryx, oribi, waterbuck, buffalo, giraffe and warthog), the Serengeti is sure to attract a string of prey such as lion, leopard, cheetah, hyena, golden jackals and bat eared foxes. Elephants are relatively scarce and the few remaining black rhinoceros are restricted to the Moru Koppies area.

Day 13 - Ngorongoro via Olduvai Gorge

After an early breakfast, we drive south to the magnificent Ngorongoro crater via the historical Olduvai Gorge and proceed to Ngorongoro Crater tour – Ascend for dinner and overnight stay at Ngorongoro Rhino Lodge. The Ngorongoro crater is the world’s biggest whole volcanic caldera at 8300 sq km and is arguably the most stunning arena. It is frequently described as one of the wonders of the world, not only because of its geological magnificence, but also because it serves as an extraordinary natural sanctuary for some of Africa’s largest populations of large mammals.

Day 14- Ngorongoro- Arusha -Kampala

Breakfast at leisure then proceed to Arusha – lunch then board an afternoon shuttle bus to Nairobi to arrive by 1800 hrs – drop off at the airport to board an evening flight to Entebbe on arrival – our representative will meet you and drive you to a hotel for overnight stay .

Day 15 – Kampala – Queen Elizabeth National park

Depart for Queen Elizabeth National Park. En route, you could stop by the Uganda Equator to take pictures. After lunch at the Lake view Hotel in Mbarara, head for the East African Rift valley arriving in Queen Elizabeth National Park. After an evening game drive, transfer to your accommodations for dinner and overnight either at Jacana Camp.

Day 16: Queen Elizabeth National park

After an early morning cup of tea at 6:30am, depart for a game drive on the northerly parts of the park along the Kasenyi track. This is the best time for opportunities of viewing the cats in action. Later, return for breakfast. In the afternoon, take a boat cruise on the Kazinga for solitary Buffalo, Hippo and other animals at the edge of the channel as they cool off. European migrant birds like the terns and gulls congregate here in large flocks. Dinner and overnight either at Jacana Camp.

Days 17: Queen Elizabeth – Bwindi

Have a relaxed breakfast, transfer to the gorilla sanctuary through this beautiful mountain scenery referred to as the little Switzerland. Dinner and overnight either at Gorilla Forest Camp or Mantana Bwindi Camp.

Day 18 : Gorilla searching

Briefing by park ranger guides. Later with picnic lunch, start 30 minutes - 8 hours trek to find the Mountain gorillas. The tracking starts at the area where the gorillas were the previous day. After a full hour with the gorillas, return to your accommodations for dinner and overnight at Gorilla Backpackers camp.

Day 19: Kampala

Transfers to Mbarara for lunch, later depart for Kampala. Transit time 8 - 10 HOURS. Overnight stay at a Hotel.

Day 20: Departure

Transfer to the airport to board your Nairobi bound flight arriving in good connecting time with your home bound flight.
