Day 1 Nairobi to Maasai mara You will be picked and received by a company representative at the airport/hotel followed by a briefing on the journey by the company representative then the 4 hour journey from Nairobi to Maasai Mara which approximately 260 km.We will go through Narok town and on the way be able to see some eye catching Terrains and the beautiful escarpment. We will have lunch at Narok town before embarking on the final part of the journey to the Mara. Upon arrival at the Mara, we will have an enroute game drive to the Sopa lodge where we will check in then have a late evening game drive before getting back to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay at the lodge. Day 2 Maasai Mara full day We will have breakfast then proceed for an early morning game drive around the Maasai mara National reserve where we will be able to see some of the big five and also get a glimpse of the vast savannah vegetation surrounding the mara game reserve .The game drive will take us round the park and we will be able to see Serengeti National reserve from a distance. We will have lunch at the lodge then have an afternoon game drive covering the mara river where we will be able to see more of the big 5 and some of the water animals living in the river. We will spot crocodiles, hippos and lots of wildebeests, impalas, antelopes, zebras grazing in the vast savannah grass. Dinner and overnight stay at the lodge Day 3 Maasai mara full day After breakfast, we will go for a morning game drive then move to the Maasai village. At the village, we will see the different cultures and the heritage of the Maasai community who play a major role in the mara. The Maasai community is mostly known for their bead work and intense cultural practices. The Maasai are reserved communities and are mainly found along the Mara triangle. We will have a look at some of their artifacts on display and some even on sale and luckily purchase them as souvenirs of your visit to the mara. At the Maasai village we will learn more about the Maasai and their authentic and interesting tradition. Day 4 Maasai Mara to Lake Nakuru After an early breakfast, we will proceed to the Mara conservancy where we will be able to learn more about the efforts to conserve the reserve. We will also learn more about the history of the reserve and the population .We will also learn about some of the endangered species in the park. The ranger at the conservancy will answer some of the questions you may have about the conservancy and the park. We will then head back to the lodge for lunch, check out then begin the journey to Lake Nakuru having an enroute game drive as we leave the Mara. Upon arrival ,we will check in at the lodge then have dinned and an overnight stay at the camp. Day 5 full day Lake Nakuru After breakfast, you will head out for the morning game drive having carried packed lunch .During the game drive, you will be able to experience more game viewing of more animals found at the park. The drive will take you to various spots in the park known for attracting lions, gazelles, giraffes and zebras among others. You will have your lunch as you continue with your drive around the park .After a successful completion of the game drive, you will head back to the camp for dinner and overnight stay. Day 6 Nakuru to Nairobi After breakfast, you will have a morning game drive in the park before getting back to the lodge, checking out then starting the journey back to Nairobi. You will have lunch at Naivasha and another stopover at the view point. Upon arrival in Nairobi, you will be dropped at the destination of your choice. Cost inclusive
