2 Days Maasai mara budget safari involves 2 days of touring Maasai mara National reserve which is one of the largest park in Kenya .The park borders Serengeti National reserve in Tanzania and together provide a home for over 95 species of mammals including lions,girrafes ,elephants,cheetahs,leopards, hyenas ,monkeys among other animals. The Maasai mara National reserve also is home to the spectacular annual wildebeest migration which is considered one of the last remaining wildlife phenomena in the world and occurs annually between the months of July and October. The wildebeests cross from the Maasai mara National reserve to the Serengeti national park in Tanzania in search of more pasture. The mara river is infested with various water predators e.g. crocodiles and hippos who don’t hesitate to make a meal out of the migrating wildebeests. Other land predators such as lions also prey on the migrating wildebeests during their movement.

Day 1 Nairobi to Maasai mara
You will be met at the airport/hotel by our company representative who will brief you on the safari and also give you a breakdown of your safari itinerary before you depart to the Maasai mara National reserve. You will have a stopover at the view point which is a vintage point from where you can view the Great Rift Valley overlying below .The site is also good for taking photographs and you can have a good photo session for memories you will then proceed via Narok town and arrive at the Maasai mara in time for lunch at the camp, check in then have an afternoon game drive around the Maasai mara National reserve looking and observing the various wildlife at the park you will then head back to the camp for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 2 Maasai mara to Nairobi
After an early morning hearty breakfast you will head out for an early morning game drive around the Maasai mara National reserves, exploring the beautiful sceneries and the beautiful indigenous wildlife dotting the park. You will be able to spot lions, elephants, zebras, leopards and occasional cheetahs which are rarely spotted because of their camouflage ability to blend really well with the
Savannah vegetation in the park. You will drive to the mara river where you will spot majority of hippos and crocodiles laying at the river and the river banks also you will spot some birds which nest on the trees on the banks of the mara river. You will have your packed lunch as you go on with you game drive .After the drive, you will head out to the camp, check out, and then start the journey back to Nairobi where you will be dropped off at your preferred destination having completed the safari.
